Jóvenes Nucleares (the Spanish YGN) and the European Nuclear Society Youth Generation Network (ENS – YGN) organize in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) the next edition of the European Nuclear Young Generation Forum: ENYGF’21.

– WHERE & FORMAT: The congress will be held in Tarragona, Spain, from 27 to 30 September 2021, at the mighty ‘El Seminari de Tarragona’. To provide flexibility and encourage participation, it is planned in hybrid format (in presence & online). Compliance with the safety recommendations is at the core of its planning.

– SUBMIT YOUR WORK: The call for abstracts (~400 words max) is open until February 19th. ENYGF’21 welcomes the submission of original technical works, which will be peer-reviewed and published in the book of proceedings with its corresponding ISBN. Also, the manuscripts which obtain the highest qualifications from our reviewing team, will be proposed to be published, in extended format, in a special issue in the ASME Journal of Nuclear Engineering and Radiation Science dedicated to the ENYGF21.

– HOT TOPICS: this edition is focused on the hot topics that will shape the future of nuclear energy in the next 10 years: radioactive waste management, breakthroughs in nuclear fuels and materials, small modular reactors, and energy transition.  Furthermore, the technical scope of the conference is widened through the technical tracks,  that cover the main research fields within the nuclear industry and academia, assuring all young professionals have the opportunity participate, hereby promoting the creation of synergies and networking.
