Cédric Lewandowski – Group Senior Executive Vice President, Nuclear and Thermal, EDF
Cédric Lewandowski, at 53, is currently Group Senior Executive Vice President, Nuclear and Thermal, of EDF; a post he was appointed to in July of 2019.
A graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Studies, and holding a postgraduate degree in Advanced Geopolitical Studies, he has undertaken from 1991 to 1998 a number of roles in public bodies.
He began his career at EDF in 1998, acting as the EDF President’s Chief of Staff, later serving as Director of the Electric Transport and Vehicles Division and Director of the EDF Commerce Territorial Authorities Division.
In May 2012, Cedric was named Chief of Staff of the French Minister of Defense, Jean-Yves Le Drian, in which capacity he acted until May 2017.
From 2017 to June 2019, he acted as EDF Group Senior Executive Vice President in charge of Innovation, Strategy and Corporate Responsibility.
Cédric’s honors include the Chevalier de l’Ordre de la Légion d’Honneur (France).
