The low carbon and reliability benefits of nuclear energy are widely recognized by policies and regulations of various IAEA Member States and regions, e.g. EU Sustainable Finance Taxonomy. Yet the inclusion of nuclear in sustainable financing frameworks does not guarantee investment in nuclear energy projects.
