To inform stakeholders of the progress made by the European Industrial Alliance on SMRs since its launch in February 2024, and to collect further feedback from interested parties not directly involved in the Alliance (e.g. policy-makers such as MEPs, Member States, EU institutions, NGOs, and other EU industry representatives), a Stakeholders’ Forum will be held on 27 January 2026 in Brussels at the European Commission premises.

Among the topics to be discussed during the Forum are:

• The role of SMRs of the European Industrial Alliance on SMRs – potential, context, way forward
• SMRs and cross sectorial applications and innovations
• Public engagement and socio-political challenges of SMRs development and deployment
• SMRs Safety and Radioactive Waste Management

Expected participation: +/- 100 in-person attendees + web stream
