Kamen Kraev – Secretary General, NucNet
Kamen Kraev is a senior editor and secretary-general at NucNet, one of the global leading English-language nuclear news agencies based in Brussels. Kamen joined NucNet in 2015 as a writer and researcher and since 2018 is also responsible for the management of NucNet. He holds master’s degrees in European politics and business administration from the Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven) in Belgium. Energy, politics, and global affairs have been the main topics of Kamen’s professional and private interests since his formative years.
Spending nearly a decade working on nuclear industry reporting has given Kamen an in-depth perspective on the developments and important trends in the European and global nuclear sectors. Kamen believes nuclear power should not only be looked at through the prism of energy transition policies but should play a stabilising role in Europe’s energy mix over a much longer horizon.
