Mark, who is responsible for the power and renewables team at BNP Paribas in London, has 30 years of experience of the energy and infrastructure finance market. BNP Paribas is one of the leading banks in the power sector and is playing a key role in the financing of the energy transition.   He has advised on, and arranged,  energy sector financings in many different parts of the world, with a major focus in renewable energy with extensive experience of offshore wind, onshore wind, solar and other technologies, including nuclear.  BNP Paribas has recently advised Equinor and SSE on the Dogger Bank project in the UK which has raised over £9bn of limited recourse financing and will be the largest offshore wind project in the world when complete. He is currently advising Sizewell C on their planned 2 unit EPR project in the UK and advised Hinkley Point C on their EPR project which is currently under construction.  He has advised on nuclear projects in other countries including France, Finland, and Czechia.

 He was educated at Oxford University.
