Yves Desbazeille – Director General, nucleareurope

Yves Desbazeille represents the European nuclear industry toward European decision-makers in Brussels and other European capital cities and decides the way forward on priorities and actions.

Yves is a French national, born in Toulon (south of France). He has spent many years abroad (in Belgium and South-East Asia).

Engineer by training, he holds a master’s in business administration.

He started his career in nuclear engineering and then he had many experiences in project development and project management of nuclear, hydropower and gas plant projects. Later he has also been involved in EU affairs with his former employer EDF.
