Fabien Roques

Executive Vice President & Head of Energy Practice, Compass Lexecon

Dr. Fabien Roques is an Executive Vice President and leads Compass Lexecon’s European energy practice, based in Paris and Brussels.

Fabien’s expertise spans a range of economic and financial issues across energy and carbon markets. Over the past 25 years, Fabien has worked on numerous economic and financial issues in the nuclear industry.

In particular, Fabien has been involved in the State Aid review of new nuclear plants and life extensions in Belgium, Czechia, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, and the UK. Fabien has also advised on a range of contractual and valuation issues and been involved as expert in several nuclear high profile disputes.

Fabien holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Cambridge and an M.Sc. in Engineering from Ecole Centrale Lyon.
