*What is included in the room?
- Room rates are based on a one or two person occupancy. Additional occupants will be charged a per person/per day fee of $40 CAD.

- Parking is available at additional cost ($25/day for self-parking with no in-out privileges, $42 per day for valet parking with in-out privileges)

Alternate Conference Hotel: Novotel Ottawa
The conference organizers have secured a special rate for delegates at the Novotel Ottawa, a 6 minute walk (500m) from the conference venue. This rate is available for rooms booked for the nights of 14 through 19 July 2018 (latest checkout is Friday 20 July).
The special conference rate (CAD)*, booked by calling the Novotel at 1-855-677-3033, quoting booking code 640451 and mentioning the “QLM block”. This offer is not available online. This rate is valid until June 14, 2018, after which point it will be based on availability. A credit card will be required at the time of reservation to guarantee the room at the special conference rate. Credit card guarantees will be processed within 15 days of arrival to validate the credit card. Credit card must be valid to guarantee the reservation.
Cancellation: Rooms require 7 days to cancel, or a cancellation fee will apply.

Tuesday 17th: Walk around historic Ottawa for accompanying persons at 10.00h.

This Ottawa River cruise offers the finest views along the River. With departures from the Ottawa Dock, located at the foot of the Ottawa Locks, this 1 1/2 hour tour is the most thorough tour available on the water. The Paula D is ideal for an excursion. You have the opportunity to see the beautiful landscape of Ottawa and relax and enjoy a nice cold beverage on the large upper deck. In addition, on the lower deck, passengers will find the canteen and bar. The cruise offers a spectacular view of the city and allows you to see the river as it was used long ago: as a highway to transport resources. You will also see the natural beauty of the region that captured the imagination of the first European explorer Samuel de Champlain.

Visa requirements
Visa-exempt foreign nationals need an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to fly to or transit through Canada. Exceptions include U.S. citizens and travellers with a valid Canadian visa. If you need help with your application, you can contact your nearest visa application centre (VAC).
If you require an invitation letter for your Visa application, your conference registration must be completed first, including the payment of applicable fees. The request for the Visa invitation letter should be sent to Emilia Janisz at FORATOM. If your Visa application is unsuccessful, your registration fee will be refunded.
